Never released, the biggest and most obvious feature of the LG GW990 would have been its remarkable 4.8 inch touchscreen, with a resolution of 1020×480 pixels. The GW990 has sufficient processing and memory umph to juggle several applications simultaneously. ItÂ’s built around Intels Moorestown chip – said to consume significantly less power than other smartphones – incorporating an Intel Atom 45 nm processor and running Intels Moblin Linux OS.
In addition, the GW990 maintains the upward momentum of what is now considered normal in a smartphone: a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, autofocus and the ability to record HD video, HSDPA, Wi-Fi and 16GB of on-board memory, plus a microSD card slot.
